Complaints, concerns and suggestions

Here at Whitworth, we are proud to provide friendly, personalised health and wellbeing advice and pharmacy services with a real community feel. We always aim to exceed our customers’ expectations and provide to you what you need to look and feel at your best.

However, we recognise that there will be times that, despite trying our best, we may not  always meet your expectations.  

That is why we appreciate your feedback. 

If you have any complaints, concerns, suggestions, or general feedback , we would love to hear from you. We will use your feedback to help further improve what we offer in our pharmacies so we can continue to provide the best services to you. 

When you contact us or give us feedback, you will be taken seriously, and we will always treat it with complete understanding and respect. 

We will never discuss your confidential information with a third party unless you have given your permission and will only use it internally if it is needed to resolve your complaint. However, at times, and only when necessary, we may need to disclose your details to institutions, for example the NHS, General Pharmaceutical Council, Information Commissioner’s Office, your GP etc.

  • Fully investigate any complaint according to our policy

  • Keep you informed about your complaint and any action we need to take

  • Always treat you with respect 

  • Never share any confidential information (unless you have provided permission or we have to)

You can also pop into your local branch and give your feedback directly to a member of our staff if you would prefer. We also have a leaflet in our pharmacy explaining how we will be dealing with your complaint - please ask for more details. 

We may contact you over the phone, via email or by letter regarding your complaint. If we need to investigate matters, this process will be conducted by an appropriately trained manager.
